V(U)L(N)ER(ABLE) 2019
In my art making l explore the possibility of a contemporary language for personal trauma. Through this process, I create a visual reference to the fragility and vulnerability of the injured body and how it prevents us from advancing in life. The ladder becomes the principal inspiration for this body of work and is a recurrent theme. I use found objects, soft sculpture and laces to illustrate the unravelling and subsequent restructuring of my life.

Drifting Away 2015
In this body of work, I use the strings that loop through one another in the art of crochet as a metaphor to explore the idea that we are all part of something greater.
